I am qualified as a Coach, Positive Psychology Practitioner and Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher. I specialise in working with people who are Highly Sensitive (HSPs) and people who wish to explore their inner strengths further. This is done combining all three approaches or each individually depending on my clients’ needs.
I encourage clients to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and give the time and energy required to participate fully in the sessions and in their discovery process.
Clients are solely responsible for creating and implementing any decisions, choices, and actions made as a result of the work done during sessions. I am not and will not be liable or responsible for any action or inaction taken by the client following work with me.
Where do I work? I normally work remotely online via Zoom or Skype. Phone sessions can also be arranged. This would be discussed and arranged during the free ‘explorative call’ before the start of the first session.
Confidentiality & Privacy: The identity of clients and their material will be kept secure and confidential. No such material or information can or will be released to another party unless given with the written consent of the client. I attend regular clinical supervision sessions, where client material may be discussed anonymously. The purpose of supervision is to enhance my professional development as I strive for excellence in my practice.
Exceptions to confidentiality are when I judge that the client, or someone they identify, is at significant risk of harming themselves, others or in danger of being harmed by a third party. In such instances, additional professional help may be sought, with the intention of supporting the client or a person in need of safeguarding.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2018): By signing this document clients are providing consent for me to take notes, keep clinical records and reports (if required) which are held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2018). These are used to support your progress and for planning future sessions. I securely store the client’s contact details and confidential materials for a maximum period of 8 years after the cessation of the working relationship.
Contact between sessions: Contact between sessions is generally for administrative purposes only, to book, cancel or rearrange appointments.
Health & Safety: Clients are encouraged to keep themselves as safe as possible during sessions. I hold professional liability insurance via The Positive Psychology Guild and I adhere to the ethical guidelines of The International Coaching Federation and The Positive Psychology Guild.
Cancellation Policy: I operate a cancellation policy of a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled for whatever reason, without this notice will be charged in full. If a client is late to the appointment, I will see the client but the appointment will end at the scheduled time and the client will be charged in full. Every effort will be made to adhere to the planned session date and time. I reserve the right to make reasonable changes to these, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. There is a shared expectation that the client and I will attend on time.
Fees: Fees are calculated on a flexible timing regime: from 30 mins to 1h30 sessions. Normal cost is £80/hour. I offer blocks at reduced price: £225 for a block of 3 hours and £425 for a block of 6 hours. I also offer rebates for people in need. Payment options will be agreed once the contract is drawn.
Advice and signposting: I may suggest the services of other professionals when deemed necessary or appropriate. Sometimes I may make a recommendation of a useful book, service or practitioner. The purpose of this is to offer clients additional support, without pressure.
Termination of Work: It is good practice if endings are carefully planned for, in a manner to ensure every effort has been made to satisfactorily meet the aims and objectives agreed at the start of the working relationship. If a client does not attend more than once in succession, with no message received, then it is assumed that the client has ended the working relationship and all mutual responsibilities end. Any outstanding fees will require payment.
Conditions: From time to time I may update these terms to clarify my practice or to reflect new or different practices. I reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. If any material changes are made, I will notify clients using the email address specified in the details provided, if currently using my services at the time of change.
Clients have the right to terminate my services at any time. I aim to provide the best quality of care. I am a member of The International Coaching Federation and of The Positive Psychology Guild and adhere to their code of ethics.
Complaints: Please discuss any complaints or concerns with me in the first instance (info@simplibe.com). If we are unable to resolve the difficulty, then please write to:
